Summary: Reclamation proposes to renew long-term water service contracts with the 20 Delta-Mendota Canal Unit Contractors. The renewal period for the City of Tracy will be for 40 years, due to its status as a municipal & industrial (M&I) water district. Their contract will run from March 2005 to February 2029. For the remaining 19 districts, which are either strictly agricultural (ag) or mixed ag and M&I, the renewal period will be for 25 years and run from March 2005 to February 2045.
