215/Temporary Contracts

In 2009, it was decided the CVC Contractors would be issued an executed Temporary Water Service Contract absent an actual 215 Declaration.

Therefore, a process allowing individual NCVPC the opportunity to download a form of contract and sample Board Resolution was initiated in order to accommodate the NCVPC need to have their Board of Directors grant advance authorization and approval of a Temporary Water Service Contract prior to an actual 215 Declaration.

Temporary Water Service Contract(s) will be accepted from a NCVPC only after Reclamation announces surplus water availability.

In 2003, Mid-Pacific Region in Consultation with the South-Central California Area Office determined that no non-Central Valley Project Contractors (NCVPC) would be issued an executed Temporary Water Service Contract absent an actual 215 Declaration.
