Colorado River Basin Water Supply and Demand Study
Educational Outreach Sessions
In March and April, 2013, Reclamation conducted a series of three Educational Outreach Sessions to provide in-depth information regarding the findings of the Study. Due to the Study’s technical complexity and wide scope, each session was three hours in length to provide opportunities to discuss the major phases of the Study:
- Assessment of future water supply and demand.
- Analysis of the future reliability of the Colorado River system.
- The development and analysis of options and strategies to resolve the projected imbalances in future water supply and demand.
The session conducted via webinar on April 3, 2013, was recorded for later viewing. For download ease, the webinar recording has been divided into five 30-minute segments:
Segment 1: Introduction, Water Supply Assessment, and Water Demand Assessment
Segment 2: Water Demand Assessment continued, and Options and Strategies Development
Segment 3: System Reliability Analysis Methodology
Segment 4: System Reliability Analysis Results
Segment 5: System Reliability Analysis Results continued, Study Limitation and Next Steps
