Notice effective July 1: Hoover Dam and Memorial Bridge walkway are open until 10 p.m. each night for this spectacular event. Witness the enormous 300-foot-by-150-foot American flag draped across Hoover Dam and enjoy the dazzling light show that brings the dam and canyon walls to life! The following schedule outlines activities leading up to the lowering of the American flag for the final time on Monday, July 6.
- Thursday, July 2: Flag display (pending forecast), Light show
- Friday, July 3: The flag will be up all day; the light show starts at dusk.
- Saturday, July 4: The flag will be up all day; the light show starts at dusk.
- Sunday, July 5: The flag will be up all day; the light show starts at dusk.
- Monday, July 6: The flag will be up all day; the light show starts at dusk.

Hoover Dam Driving Directions and Parking Information
Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas, on the Nevada-Arizona border. Click here for Google map. The Dam does not have a street address, simply enter "Hoover Dam".
Driving Directions to Hoover Dam
From Nevada- From I-11 S/US-93 S/US-95 S through Boulder City
- Take Exit 2
- At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto NV-172
- Turn right onto NV SR-172/Hoover Dam Access Rd
- Continue to follow Hoover Dam Access Rd
- From I-11 N/US-93 N/US-95 N
- Take Exit 2
- Turn right onto NV SR-172/Hoover Dam Access Rd
- Continue to follow Hoover Dam Access Rd
(Note: Visitors who wish to continue travel into Arizona must re-enter Nevada and access I-11 S/US-93 S/US-95 S to cross the Mike O'Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.)

Parking at the Dam
A parking garage is located on the Nevada side of the dam near the Visitor Center; fee $10 per vehicle.
Oversized vehicles, recreational vehicles, and vehicles with trailers must park on the Arizona side of the dam, Lot #9 (fee $10 per vehicle), #13, and #14 (no charge).
Visitor Center Tour Entrance
Follow “Tours” signage to Visitor Center. Take escalator, stairs, or elevator down to the ticketing lobby. Security screening required upon Visitor Center entry.
