Drought Response Program

The Bureau of Reclamation's Drought Response Program supports a proactive approach to drought by providing assistance to water managers to: develop and update comprehensive drought plans, and implement projects that will build long-term resiliency to drought.

CURRENT STATUS

The FY25 Drought Resiliency Projects funding opportunity was posted July 24, 2024. Applications are due October 7, 2024.

Drought Contingency Planning Grants can now be found through the FY23 Planning and Project Design Grants funding opportunity. First round of selections were announced April 23, 2024. Second round of applications were due May 23, 2024 and are currently under review.
