Conconully Safety of Dams Modification Project Environmental Assessment
Draft Environmental Assessment

The Bureau of Reclamation invited the public comment on the draft environmental assessment for the Conconully Safety of Dams Modification project. The public comment period was open for 30 days between June 10 to July 10, 2025.
During the comment period, the public had the opportunity to review the draft EA and provide input through two in-person public meetings held in Conconully and Okanogan, Wash. Each meeting included an open house, presentation, and opportunities to submit comments. Reclamation subject matter experts were available to answer questions.
A virtual public meeting room website was also available where visitors could view project information, read frequently asked questions, and submit comments online.
All public comment submissions received were considered in the development of the final EA. A matrix of substantive comments will be included in Appendix M of the final EA.
