Trails
North End Trail
This scenic trail winds along the north shore of Lake Berryessa. The 6.2-mile, one way trail open to hikers and bikers, is an easy and clear path with wonderful views across the lake to the Blue Ridge 15 miles away. With luck, you may see White Pelicans, Golden and Bald Eagles, and the more common Western Grebes and Osprey. North End Trail Map
Pope Canyon
A two-mile, one way stretch of old roadway brings hikers from today's current Pope Canyon Road down to Pope Creek using an old alignment that used to serve the town of Monticello before construction of Monticello Dam inundated the valley.
