John W. Keys III Pump-Generating Plant Tours

Public tours at the John W. Keys III Pump-Generating Plant are offered May 26–Oct. 31, 2023. Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis, running approximately one hour. Availability is limited and subject to change. Tours can be canceled without notice and admission is free.
Tours times (Pacific Time):
9 a.m.11 a.m.
1:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m.
All tour participants are required to pass through a metal detector prior to beginning the tour. Attendees may bring cameras on the tour, but all camera cases must remain in vehicles. Onsite storage for personal belongings is unavailable.
The following items are prohibited on tour:
- Weapons
- Purses/bags
- Backpacks/fanny packs
- Packages
Directions from the visitor center:
1. From WA Highway 155 (Columbia Avenue) head northwest toward WA Highway 155.
2. Turn right onto Grand Coulee Bridge and continue straight onto Roosevelt Way.
3. At the stop sign, turn left on Bureau Road and follow the road to Marina Way.
4. The tour center is approximately one-half mile down on Marina Way.
Mask requirements while attending public tours are determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated guidance on community level transmission. Mask mandates are subject to change without notice. We will continue to monitor changes in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
At this time, the tour vans do not provide access for mobility devices. This issue is expected to be temporary. Reclamation is actively seeking solutions to resolve this matter. Please call 509-633-9265 for accessible accommodations.
Service animals are allowed on the tour.
