SACRAMENTO — On Tuesday, October 27, the Bureau of Reclamation will honor President Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday by waiving day use fees for U.S. citizens at its directly managed recreation areas at New Melones Lake, Lake Berryessa, and Stony Gorge Reservoir.

President Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday celebrates the legacy of the nation’s 26th president, whose conservation leadership laid the foundation for America’s modern public lands system. His commitment to protecting natural resources continues to inspire stewardship and outdoor recreation across the country.

All other fees — including overnight camping, boat launching, and concession managed area fees — will still apply. Non-citizen fees also remain in place.
