Multiprobe Water Quality Data

Currently Available Period of Record: April 1, 2000, through February 15, 2007

We have been operating a maintenance and calibration program for a water quality multiprobe at the TFCF since April 2000, and this program has produced seven years of high quality data. The probe (currently a YSI) is installed behind the TFCF trash rack on the north side of the intake channel, and it measures and records temperature (T), electrical conductivity (EC), pH, redox potential (Eh or ORP), dissolved oxygen (DO), and turbidity every 30 minutes. The probe is cleaned and calibrated every 2 weeks on site and data are independently checked on a monthly schedule, and validated and published annually. Procedures for calibration and maintenance have been summarized in several Tracy Series Reports (Volume 17, Volume 22, and Volume 26).

The links below will allow you to download the raw data files (ASCII comma delimited files) and data base files (in Microsoft Access 2002 format), or summaries of data as web pages with data tables, or as Microsoft Excel 2002 workbooks. We have also prepared a series of data plots for download. Some of these files are very large, and will take significant time to download even on high speed Internet connections. Contact Kathy Fenton if you would like data files on a CD-ROM, or have more specific data requirements.
