Research Question
What economic methodologies and literature are applicable to the quantification of the costs and benefits of reservoir sediment management?
Need and Benefit
There is a dearth of research surrounding the methods to assess the costs and benefits of long-term sediment management for Reclamation reservoirs. A framework for quantifying these costs and benefits will contribute to prudent decision-making regarding reservoir maintenance, lifespan, and decommissioning.
