Deadwood Reservoir Operations Flexibility

Reclamation has completed an evaluation of operational flexibility at Deadwood Reservoir to address requirements of the Endangered Species Act consultations for Bull Trout and Bull Trout Critical Habitat. The evaluation examined effects of operations in Deadwood Reservoir, the Deadwood River downstream of the Dam, and portions of the South Fork Payette River. The results of these analyses were used to develop operational (implementation) measures that provide benefits to Bull Trout and their critical habitat.
