Summer Falls Day Use Area
Summer Falls Day Use Area is located at the north end of Billy Clapp Lake near State Highway 28 in Grant County, Wash., about 22 miles north of Moses Lake. The park is open for day use only from mid-April through mid-October and offers a single stall vault-style restroom for visitors.
Guests can enjoy picnicking, photography, and scenic views of the waterfall. The waterfall is seasonal and formed by irrigation water delivered from Banks Lake through a system of canals. Its flow varies depending on operations at the nearby hydroelectric power plant.
Warning: Do not enter the water. Water may be released into the reservoir without warning, creating sudden changes in water levels and currents. These hazards may not be visible from the surface and can create life-threatening conditions.

- Drone operation
- Entry into restricted or fenced-off areas
- Littering or leaving trash outside designated receptacles
- Amplified music or disruptive noise
- Commercial activities or events without an approved permit
