Reclamation waives day-use fees at New Melones Lake and Lake Berryessa for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – In observance of the civil rights leader’s birthday, Martin Luther King Jr., the Bureau of Reclamation’s New Melones Lake and Lake Berryessa will waive day-use fees at direct-managed areas on Jan. 20, 2020. Other fees, such as those at concession-managed areas, overnight camping and boat launching, will still apply.

The New Melones Administration Office, Visitor Center and Museum is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is located at 6850 Studhorse Flat Road, in Sonora. Call the New Melones Visitor Center and Museum for more information on activities, directions, pet restrictions or other questions at 209-536-9543 (TTY 800-877-8339). The Lake Berryessa Administration Office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Dufer Point Visitor Center is open from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Both facilities are located at 5520 Knoxville Road, in Napa.
