Reclamation announces public comment period on Cachuma Project contract amendment

FRESNO – The Bureau of Reclamation invites public comment on a proposed third amendment to the Cachuma Operation and Maintenance Board’s Operation and Maintenance Contract (Contract No. 14-06-200-5222RC), dated July 21, 2026.

The amendment would extend the contract term up to two years and allow COMB to continue operation and maintenance of the Cachuma Project’s transferred works.

Reclamation is accepting written comments for 30 days. Comments on this third draft contract amendment must be received by close of business on August 29, 2026, and may be submitted by mail, fax, or email to:
