FRESNO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking public comment on a proposed amendment to the Santa Barbara County Water Agency’s existing water service contract (Contract No. I75r1802RB), dated Sept. 29, 2023.
The amendment would extend the contract term up to five years and allow the Santa Barbara County Water Agency to continue delivering its surface water supply to the Member Units.
Reclamation is accepting written comments for 60 days. Comments on this third draft contract amendment must be received by close of business on August 31, 2026, and may be submitted by mail, fax, or email to:
