Reclamation announces public negotiations for a water service contract with Tuolumne Utilities District

FOLSOM, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation today announces two contract negotiation sessions with the Tuolumne Utilities District on terms and conditions for a water service contract. The contract will be negotiated for the storage and conveyance of up to 6,000 acre-feet of Central Valley Project water per year using water from the New Melones Unit (New Melones Reservoir). 

The following negotiation sessions will be held in the Administrative Office Main Conference Room at Reclamation’s Central California Area Office, 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, California:

  • June 9, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

An additional negotiation session may be held at the above location, if necessary:

  • June 11, 1-3:30 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding this contracting action; participation instructions and the draft contract will be available at each session.
