
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation today announced the selection of
Robert C. Ward as the new Program and Budget Officer Manager for the California-Great Basin Region.
“Robert brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this position,” said California-Great Basin Regional Director Karl Stock. “We are looking forward to having Robert expand his leadership skills to guide our Region through the critical complexities of our budget process.”
As Program and Budget Office Manager, Ward is responsible for developing, evaluating, revising, and accomplishing integrated long-term and short-term regional program plans, strategies, and budgets throughout the California-Great Basin Region.
Ward has been with Reclamation since 2015, beginning his career as a budget technician. He most recently served as the Ratesetting Manager. His previous roles include Supervisory Financial Specialist and Regional Budget Analyst.
Ward graduated from William Jessup University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy. Before his career in public service, he proudly served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2005 to 2009.
