Publication explains the different factors associated with Shasta operations as Reclamation prepares new operation plan for the Central Valley Project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation today released “Shasta and the Long-Term Operation Plan for the Central Valley Project: Achieving durability and equanimity for multiple needs,” the third and final chapter of its Shasta StoryMap series.
Produced in the dynamic and vivid ArcGIS StoryMap format, the publication is a comprehensive and detailed presentation that looks at the incorporation of climate change conditions into the new plan for long-term operation of the Central Valley Project and the efforts to protect winter-run Chinook salmon. It’s compelling reading for anyone interested in California water.
