FOLSOM, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation today announces the recent execution of two contracts with the Solano County Water Agency: one contract for the renewal of the existing long-term water service contract, and one contract for the operation, maintenance, and replacement of Solano Project Works.

The renewed water service contract makes up to 17,717 acre-feet of water available per year from the Solano Project (Lake Berryessa) and allows the agency to continue providing project water to their partners and district members for municipal, industrial, and irrigation purposes. The renewed operation and maintenance contract will continue the partnership between Reclamation and SCWA, who will be the lead on project operations and maintenance for water supply based project facilities.
