Reclamation announces public negotiations for Delta-Mendota Canal and Jones Pumping Plant Extraordinary Maintenance work

PUBLIC NOTICE

FRESNO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation today announces a teleconference negotiation session for a repayment contract with the San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority on the repayment of extraordinary maintenance work for the Delta-Mendota Canal Jones Pumping Plant Excitation Cabinet and Control Panel Refurbishment Project.  Funding for the project was made available through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The $25 million allocation to the Delta-Mendota Canal Jones Pumping Plant Excitation Cabinet and Control Panel Refurbishment Project announced on April 5 will be used to provide needed facility modernization, which will allow the continuance of power generation and ensure the continued safe, dependable, and reliable operation of the facility.

The teleconference negotiation is scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m., PST
