This collection contains four, digitized photo albums, capturing the construction of the Anderson Ranch Dam and Power Plant. These photos provide a glimpse into the work completed by Reclamation engineers and construction workers to build these historic structures, as well as the efforts of Reclamation photographers to capture and document the historic events.

Anderson Ranch Dam is a 456-foot-high, earthfill dam on the South Fork Boise River in Idaho. When it was completed in 1950, it was the highest earthfill dam in the world. The Anderson Ranch Power Plant began operating in 1951. For more information, visit their webpages:
