The Bureau of Reclamation and the state of North Dakota, represented by the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District, will hold a public hearing to receive comment on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) related to the Red River Valley Water Supply Project. The purpose of this DEIS is to evaluate the eight proposed alternatives to meet the long term water supply needs of the Red River Valley in North Dakota and three cities in Minnesota.

The evening will consist of an informal open house beginning at 6:30 P.M. followed by a formal public hearing to begin at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, February, 2. The location for the meeting is the Best Western Doublewood Inn, 1400 East Interchange Avenue, Bismarck, N.D.

The meeting will begin with a half hour-long informal open house followed by an informative presentation summarizing the contents of the DEIS.
