Title: Riparian Habitat Restoration at Dos Rios Ranch
Summary: Reclamation proposes to provide $499,730 to the nonprofit conservation organization River Partners to partially fund the restoration of 159 acres of riparian habitat at Dos Rios Ranch in Stanislaus County. The project would enhance native riparian habitats to benefit a variety of federally-listed and other sensitive species, including the riparian brush rabbit, riparian woodrat, least Bell's vireo, and valley elderberry longhorn beetle. Approximately 3 acres of elevated land within the 159-acre area would be created to provide refuge from flooding and over 18,000 propagated plants will be planted to restore native riparian vegetation.
