Deputy Secretary recognizes Reclamation heroes

From left: John Silva, Ben Pearson, David Bernhardt, Nick Fiscus, Steve Scates and Mark BehnkeIn May, Department of the Interior Deputy Secretary David Bernhardt recognized five Northern California Area Office employees as heroes for saving a citizen’s life last year at our Whiskeytown Lake. He presented them with the Secretary’s Commendation Award at an all-hands DOI meeting in Sacramento.

Congratulations to John Silva, Ben Pearson, Nick Fiscus, Steve Scates and Mark Behnke. We couldn't be prouder!
