Lake Powell C.A.S.T. for Kids with Commissioner Estevan Lopez

CAST for Kids Event at Lake PowellOn October 1, 2016, Reclamation Commissioner Estevan Lopez joined 21 participants and many volunteers for the 11th C.A.S.T. for Kids event at Lake Powell. Festivities kicked off early at Antelope Point Marina, where participants received new fishing rods and reels. Then each boat set out to find the best fishing spot in the area.

Commissioner Lopez and Acting Deputy Regional Director Mathew Maucieri spent several hours on the reservoir, visiting several boats to cheer on participants—some of whom had never been on the water or fished before.
