4th Grade St. John Notre Dame School asking questions at the American River Water Education CenterOn November 18, 2015, the St. John Notre Dame 4th grade class visited American River Water Education Center at Folsom Dam. ARWEC welcomed the fourth-grade visitors as part of President Obama’s “Every Kid in a Park” initiative. The students learned about drought, flooding, wildlife, recreation, plants, recycled water, water conservation and the history of Folsom Dam.
