Negotiation Sessions Continue for Proposed Contracts with El Dorado Irrigation District

The Bureau of Reclamation will continue negotiations with the El Dorado Irrigation District (EID) for two Warren Act contracts to convey a total of up to 21,560 acre-feet of non-Central Valley Project (Project) water when excess capacity exists in Reclamation's Folsom Lake.

The Warren Act of February 21, 1911, authorized the United States to execute contracts for the conveyance and storage of non-Project water in Federal facilities when excess capacity exists.

The negotiation session will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Reclamation's Central California Area Office, 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, California.
