NEGOTIATION SESSIONS CONTINUE FOR RENEWAL OF THE STANDARD FORM SACRAMENTO RIVER SETTLEMENT CONTRACTS; RECLAMATION AND GCID INITIATE CONTRACT SPECIFIC NEGOTIATIONS

Reclamation and its Sacramento River Settlement Contractors are continuing negotiations on the Draft Standard Irrigation Form of Contract. Following is the next scheduled session:

In Willows Tuesday, February 18, 2003 9 a.m. 344 East Laurel Street

In addition, Reclamation and the Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District (GCID) will initiate contractor-specific negotiations for the renewal of GCID's settlement contract immediately upon conclusion of the Sacramento River Settlement Contractors negotiation session.

Dates, times, and locations of scheduled sessions are subject to change on short notice. Check Reclamation's website at www.mp.usbr.gov/srsc/index.html for possible changes. Documents scheduled for negotiation and/or discussion can be obtained by accessing the website calendar. Contract negotiations are open to the public, and members of the media and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.
