NAPA, Calif. – Today, the Bureau of Reclamation will temporarily close campgrounds at Lake Berryessa; day-use areas and boat launches will remain open unless already closed due to the LNU Lightning Complex fire incident.

In support of the California Regional Stay-At-Home order and requests from Napa county health officials, all campgrounds will temporarily close until further notice. Camping and cabins will be closed at all concession areas including Markley Cove Resort (currently closed due to fire damage), Pleasure Cove Marina, Steele Canyon Recreation Area, Spanish Flat Recreation Area, and Putah Canyon Recreation Area.

All visitors are advised to continue to follow CDC guidance to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

Phone capabilities for the Lake Berryessa Field office and the concession-operated facilities are very limited due to the extensive fire damage. For the most current information, call 707-287-2363 or email nkyle@usbr.gov or visit our website: https://www.usbr.gov/mp/ccao/berryessa/index.html.
