Reclamation Announces Draft Finding Of No Significant Impact For Central Valley Project Interim Renewal Contracts

Reclamation announces the availability of the draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) and draft Finding Of No Significant Impact (FONSI), prepared on the proposed interim renewal water service contracts which have recently been negotiated with Central Valley Project (CVP) water districts. The proposed contracts include a term of up to 2 years.

The draft SEA and FONSI have been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act. Reclamation has tentatively determined that an Environmental Impact Statement is not required before entering into the proposed interim renewal contracts. The general form of interim renewal contract covered by the draft SEA and FONSI is available as Appendix A in the draft SEA.
