Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for the Central California Irrigation District Water and Energy Efficiency Grant Project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the Central California Irrigation District Molasses Ditch Lining Project.

Reclamation would provide a grant of $300,000 to the district through WaterSMART Water and Energy Efficiency Grant Funding. The district would use the funding to line the existing Molasses Ditch with concrete, as well as to replace culverts and existing water control structures for efficient water transport.

The EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=27066.
