Final Environmental Documents Available for Reclamation District 773 Dredging License

FRESNO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation today released for public review final environmental documents on Reclamation District 773’s use of dredged material to reinforce the levee on the Fabian Bell Canal.

Reclamation District 773, which is located in San Joaquin County near the city of Tracy, will be issued a license to remove dredged material from Reclamation property over a 10-year period. Dredged material will not exceed 15,000 cubic yards annually; with the maximum, during the period the license is in effect, not to exceed 50,000 cubic yards.
