Reclamation Announces Fifth Workshop on the Draft Municipal and Industrial Water Shortage Policy for the Central Valley Project

The Bureau of Reclamation is convening a fifth stakeholder workshop on the Central Valley Project (CVP) draft Municipal & Industrial (M&I) Water Shortage Policy (WSP). The purpose of the workshop is to discuss Reclamation's plan for moving forward on the draft M&I WSP, including its environmental compliance under the National Environmental Policy Act. The workshop will be held:
Sacramento Thursday, January 20, 2011 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Federal Building, 2800 Cottage Way Fish and Wildlife Conference Room W-2617
The public is invited to attend the workshop and will have the opportunity to comment. Participation instructions will be provided at the beginning of the session, along with all pertinent documents. Information about the workshop is available at www.usbr.gov/mp/cvp/mandi. The M&I WSP project website will be updated within three weeks following this workshop. The website also includes information and materials from the four previous public workshops held May 26, June 23, July 20, and October 26, 2010.
