Reclamation Announces 2-Year Interim Renewal Central Valley Project Water Service Contracts for Public Review and Comment

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to execute 16 Central Valley Project (CVP) 2-year interim renewal contracts, with an effective date of March 1, 2010, to extend the term of the existing interim renewal contracts that expire on February 28, 2010.

The draft forms of contracts are available for public review and comment and are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/cvpia/3404c/lt_contracts/2010_int_cts/index.html.  If you encounter problems accessing documents online, please call 916-978-5100 or e-mail mpPublicAffairs@usbr.gov.

The 16 CVP contracts affected by the renewal include:  County of Tulare, County of Fresno, Hills Valley Water District, Kern-Tulare Water District (two contracts), Pixley Irrigation District, Tri-Valley Water District, Lower Tule River Irrigation District, City of Tracy (two contracts), Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency/Santa Clara Valley Water District/Westlands Water District Distribution District 1, Westlands Water District Distribution District 1 (three contracts), Westlands Water District, and Westlands Water District Distribution District 2.
