Reclamation Announces First Session to Negotiate New Repayment Contracts for Central Valley Project Friant Division

Reclamation will hold the first public session to negotiate new repayment contracts with existing long-term water service contractors in the Friant Division of the Central Valley Project.  The existing Friant Division long-term water service contracts will be converted to repayment contracts under mutually agreeable terms and conditions pursuant to Section 9 (d) of the Reclamation Project Act of 1939 and the San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act (Part I, Title X of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, Public Law 111-11, March 2009).  The converted contracts will have accelerated repayment provisions to make funds available for implementing the Settlement Act.  which requires the conversion by December 31, 2010.

  • City of Fresno
  • City of Lindsay
  • City of Orange Cove
  • County of Madera
  • Delano-Earlimart Irrigation District
  • Exeter Irrigation District
  • Fresno County Waterworks #18
  • Fresno Irrigation District
  • Garfield Water District
  • Gravelly Ford Water District
  • International Water District
  • Ivanhoe Irrigation District **
  • Lewis Creek Irrigation District
  • Lindmore Irrigation District
  • Lindsay-Strathmore Irrigation District
  • Lower Tule River Irrigation District
  • Madera Irrigation District
  • Orange Cove Irrigation District
  • Porterville Irrigation District
  • Saucelito Irrigation District
  • Shafter-Wasco Irrigation District
