Reclamation Cancels January 24 Negotiation Session with Truckee Meadows Water Authority; Negotiations to be Held January 31 and February 14 and 28

The Bureau of  Reclamation is conducting a series of negotiations for a storage contract with the Truckee Meadows Water Authority.  Under the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA) and Section 205(a)(6) of the Truckee-Carson-Pyramid Lake Water Rights Settlement Act of 1990, Title II of Public Law 101-618, Reclamation is authorized to enter into contracts for the use of space in Truckee River reservoirs.  Contracts must be consistent with terms and conditions defined in TROA.

Reclamation has cancelled the negotiation which had been scheduled for January 24, 2008.  Negotiations with the Truckee Meadows Water Authority will be held on the following three Thursdays:  January 31, February 14, and February 28, 2008.  The three negotiations will be held:

Reno, Nevada
Beginning at 10 a.m.
Truckee Meadows Water Authority, Donner Room
1355 Capital Boulevard
