Reclamation Cancels Negotiation Session for Water Storage Contract with Truckee Meadows Water Authority

The Bureau of Reclamation has cancelled the January 10th negotiation for a storage contract with the Truckee Meadows Water Authority. 

The negotiations are still scheduled for Thursday, January 17, 24, and 31, 2008: 

January 17th  Session in Reno, Nevada
Beginning at 10 a.m.
Truckee Meadows Water Authority, Donner Room
1355 Capital Boulevard

Under the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA) and Section 205(a)(6) of the Truckee-Carson-Pyramid Lake Water Rights Settlement Act of 1990, Title II of Public Law 101-618, Reclamation is authorized to enter into contracts for the use of space in Truckee River reservoirs.  Contracts must be consistent with terms and conditions defined in TROA.
