Climate Change Impacts to Precipitation and Temperature in the West

The following maps show the change in precipation and temperature from a 30 year period (1950-1979) to a 30 year period (2070-2099).

The map data, which are being used to support Reclamation’s climate change adaptation research and assessment activities, is available from a site developed by Reclamation, Santa Clara University, and Lawrence Livermore Lab. Bias Corrected and Downscaled WCRP CMIP3 Climate Projections is an archive that was developed to provide planning analysts access to climate projections spatially downscaled to a finer spatial resolution.
