As part of an effort to improve efficiency of the Central Valley Project (CVP), help ensure reliable and safe water supplies for a variety of consumptive and environmental purposes, and accommodate the growing water needs throughout the state, Reclamation’s Mid-Pacific Region has several planning investigations underway for potential water storage and conveyance projects. The investigations are carefully examining the potential environmental benefits and consequences that might result from a new or improved water storage or conveyance project. |
