Electronic systems that process incoming Hydromet data are located in Reclamation's Pacific
Northwest Regional Office in Boise, Idaho. Data streams are collected from the Boise satellite
antenna farm and from other agencies via transmission media such as DECNET or the Internet.
High-speed computer systems then process and store the data for local analysis and/or retransmission
as necessary.
