The WWCRAs focus on the development of consistent baseline information of the risks and impacts associated with climate change as they relate to the mission of the Bureau of Reclamation. WWCRA activities include identifying climate change water-related information needs of water resource managers, compiling climate data for water resources, and developing adaptation tools and guidance for water resource managers. In order to identify the risks and impacts, the WWCRAs focus on utilizing the best available science within a series of implementation activities that will continually update our understanding of how climate change affects risks to supply and demand and impacts operations as identified in the conceptual diagram (Figure 2).
