Title: Klamath Irrigation District C-Drop Hydroelectric Project Final EA and FONSI
Summary: The Bureau of Reclamation proposes to grant a LOPP to Klamath Irrigation District (KID) for development of a new hydroelectric generating plant at C-Drop on C-Canal. KID is located within Reclamation's Mid-Pacific Region, Klamath Project, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. A LOPP is a congressionally authorized alternative to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing for hydroelectric power development. A LOPP grants to a non-Federal entity the right to utilize, consistent with Klamath Project purposes, water power head or storage at and/or operationally in conjunction with the C-Drop, for non- Federal electric power generation and sale by the entity.
