---|---|
Summary: | The Bureau of Reclamation, a Cooperating Agency with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), proposes to provide federal funding under the Central Valley Project Improvement Act to Reclamation District (RD) 108 to construct new concrete wing walls, install a metal picket weir, install rock slope protection, and remove vegetation for construction access for this fish protection project along the Sacramento River in Yolo County, Calif. The Proposed Action, a cooperative effort among Reclamation, USACE, California Department of Water Resources, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and RD 108, involves the installation of a barrier at the existing structure to prevent salmon from entering the Colusa Basin Drain during upstream migration. |
