Title: Central California Irrigation District Amaral Systems Improvement Project
Summary: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) proposes to award Central California Irrigation District with a Bay-Delta Restoration Program: CALFED Water Use Efficiency Grant (grant) to fund a portion of their Amaral System Improvements Project (Project), located near Newman in Stanislaus County, California. The Project would capture agricultural spill and tailwater, and pump them into a regulating reservoir where they can be reincorporated back into CCID?s irrigation system. The Project is estimated to save up to 487 acre feet per year.
