School: Idaho State University
Major: Computer Information Systems

I was introduced to Reclamation through a professor at Idaho State University, where I am a Computer Information Systems (CIS) student. After my professor talked to the class about the position, he provided application details and contact information. I applied because I am originally from the Burley/Rupert area, and the position sounded like something I would really enjoy. So far, that has been true.

I enjoy helping in different offices in our area. My position has provided me with unique opportunities to learn about systems and fields. The position has been an invaluable addition to my education, and I feel that is very important.

I work closely with our Information Technology Specialist to keep things running as smoothly as possible. My job is rewarding on a daily basis. I feel lucky that I can say that about my job.

I plan to earn my CIS degree--and will possibly add a second degree in Computer Science or Mathematics. My goal is to get a solid educational foundation in Computer Science and Mathematics so that I can be prepared to take on anything in the ever-expanding information age.
