I applied on USA Jobs faithfully and consistently. When I first seen the student trainee position I almost looked past it, I knew nothing about student positions, but gave it a shot  I knew I wanted to continue working for the government after serving 14 years in the US Navy. Thankfully it worked out.

Exciting new challenges, daily. Being a filmmaker and using breathtaking backdrops of dams, canals and rivers are just a few of the many perks to what my passion is. Using my lenses to create a visual experience and emotion is what I pride myself behind.

Thus far, I have completed videos that are available for view on the BOR website. I can honestly say that being with Reclamation has enhanced my communication skills by constant feedback, as well as made me a better student. I actually get to use what I learn.

Work toward a permanent position by educating myself with current and future programs and projects within Reclamation. Additionally, exhaust every bit of training from school and apply it to my videos.
