The PN Region staff participated in the annual "All Veterans Welcome Home" celebration on Saturday, June 28. The event was held on the campus of the Boise VA Medical Center.

Veterans pose with Otto Otter The "All Veterans Welcome Home" event was designed to be a welcome home festivity for veterans who have recently returned and those men and women who never received a welcome home when they returned from overseas 20, 30, 40 years ago.

Reclamation hosted a Canal Safety booth with the focus being on the danger of canals and canal safety tips. Reclamation's mascot Otto Otter also participated by greeting the kids and their families, and handing out Otto Canal Safety coloring books along with canal safety stickers.

The event was free to the public including exhibitors. Those in attendance were entertained with live music. There were free BBQ and drinks, free massages, cool raffle prizes, and lots of games for the kids.

Representatives from the VA and veteran's organizations were there to help veterans get connected with various resources available to them such as health benefits, education, and employment services.
