Come visit us at the California State Fair! Federal and state agencies, including the Bureau of Reclamation, are hosting the America's Great Outdoors Exhibit at the Fair's Discovery Island this year. The interactive exhibit features free fun and educational hands-on activities for kids - emphasizing conservation, recreation and water safety on public lands and waterways. Agency mascots will be on hand on Kids Day Tuesdays to encourage families to spend some time exploring America's Great Outdoors. Visiting groups will also bring live demonstrations – including the California Raptor Center, Effie Yeaw Nature Center and NorCal Bats. The Fair runs July 12 through July 29.
