Arden Kucate has served as a Tribal Councilman for the Pueblo of Zuni for over eight years. He has certification in the Native American Graves Protection & Repatriation Act, National Historic Preservation and National Environmental Protection Act. He has worked as a title conveyor with the Zuni Housing Authority and served as a research assistant for two years with CREDE, University of California/Sana Cruz. In addition, he is the KSHI Radio Manager for the Pueblo of Zuni and works with the Southwest Indian Firefighters. He supports the tribal preservation program through continued proactive participation in local, state, and federal advisory committees to reinforce government-to-government consultation and sovereignty.
